A new initiative at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust project site is providing a powerful, personal reminder of the most important reason for staying safe at work: family.
MPB Structures is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever ‘Family Board,’ a heartwarming project designed to connect our site team with the loved ones they work for. The initiative was rolled out at the SaTH project, where we are working with our valued long-term client, IHP, a joint venture between VINCI Building UK and Sir Robert McAlpine.
The concept was simple yet powerful. The MPB Site Management Team invited our skilled site operatives to ask their children, nieces, nephews, or grandchildren to draw or paint a picture for a new site display. The goal was to create a constant, visible reminder for the team of why they come to work each day and, crucially, why we are all committed to ensuring they return home safely.
The response from our extended MPB family was fantastic. A total of 35 vibrant and imaginative drawings were submitted, with feedback from the team indicating that the children were thrilled and excited to contribute. Each piece of art now has a proud place on the ‘Family Board,’ serving as a colourful and deeply personal reinforcement of our safety-first culture.
In recognition of their fantastic efforts, MPB rewarded every child who submitted a drawing with a £20 gift card.
Sean Boyle and Patrick Boyle, MPB Main Board Directors, expressed their delight at the success of the initiative:
