MPB Structures is delivering one of the most complex and high-profile substructure packages on the HS2 Curzon Street development, a project that demands absolute precision, innovation, and reliability. Our proven capability on the initial scope led directly to MPB being awarded the wider MMA Phase, reinforcing our position as MDJV’s trusted partner.
Despite complex challenges, including congested reinforcement zones, early design clashes, difficult access into large reinforcement cages, and managing work-at-height and environmental risks, the project has progressed strongly.
MPB introduced safer reinforcement solutions, improved access systems, and innovative methods such as using a Brokk robotic breaker to remove HAVS exposure. Digital QA tools, QR-coded structures, and multilingual communication have further strengthened alignment, efficiency, and quality on site.
Together, these measures show MPB’s ability to tackle technical and safety challenges while delivering smarter, safer, and more efficient outcomes that add real value to the project.
