Latitude Purple

Beneath the development, the basement level provides secure parking, resident storage, MEP plant areas, and water tanks, ensuring the buildings operate efficiently and discreetly. At Ground Floor, additional parking sits beneath the podium, together with a dedicated substation to the south and a welcoming main entrance and reception to the north.

CHALLENGES / SUCCESSES

This project required MPB to deliver complex structural works on a highly constrained city centre site while maintaining programme, quality, and safety.

Managed restricted single point access which was shared with neighbouring construction sites and an occupied office block and delivered major works adjacent to live Network Rail tracks, applying strict safety controls and coordinated work windows.
Overcame minimal storage through precise sequencing and a disciplined just-in-time delivery strategy.
Completed complex basement construction, including 1,150 m³ of bulk excavation and challenging waterproofing requirements.
Achieved high-quality delivery of the basement, podium, and 17 & 21 storey towers, earning MPB the SISK Supply Chain Partner of the Year (UK North) award.

Through disciplined coordination and a strong safety culture, MPB delivered a high quality structure despite significant logistical and technical constraints.
