At MPB Structures, our mission extends beyond delivering excellence in Civils, RC Structures and Groundworks. We’re deeply committed to creating local employment opportunities and delivering tangible social value across every project we undertake.
We are delighted to announce that Bailey Birkett is the latest success story from our pre-employability initiative, officially transitioning into full-time paid employment with the MPB team.
Our Commitment to Social Mobility
What distinguishes MPB from our competitors is our unwavering commitment to supporting young people – particularly those who may face barriers to entry in the workforce. By providing a clear pathway from training to a career, we ensure that talent is recognised and nurtured regardless of background.
As a proud signatory of the Social Mobility Pledge and a dedicated patron and sponsor of YouthBuild UK (YBUK), we don’t just talk about change; we build the foundations for it.
A Note from our Leadership
Martyn Price MBE, FCIOB, shared his pride in Bailey’s achievement and the continued success of the collaboration with the Growth Path’s and the Skills Centre’s pre-employment programmes:
“It’s still a great feeling every time a young person transitions from one of many successful outreach programmes into paid work. Our ambition is to create as many work placements as possible, whether those individuals ultimately work for MPB or elsewhere, we seek to provide a stepping stone into work and for some, offer a life-changing opportunity.
Bailey worked really hard and took advantage of the of all the experiences presented to him during his placement. We wish him and all the other work experience students every success in the future. This is why we exist.”
Congratulations Bailey!
A huge congratulations to Bailey on starting his new role. His hard work and determination serve as a fantastic example of what can be achieved when opportunity meets ambition. We look forward to seeing his career flourish within the MPB family.
